When building a custom home, it requires a one-off, highly detailed quote that is tailored to your one-of-a-kind home. This means there are unique circumstances to consider, such as location, weather conditions, site access, your customised preferences and other details that will be specific to you and your choices. Your custom home is not like a project home that is replicated hundreds of times, nor should it be approached the same way.

The quoting process is determined largely by what stage of planning you’re at and what documentation you have already obtained. Do you have plans from an architect, engineer, interior designer, surveyor etc. for MAC Architecture Ltd to price? This will affect the quoting process and costs, so the more information we have from you, the easier it is to provide you an accurate quote. 

This fee will be deducted from the final construction contract price if you choose to build with MAC Architecture Ltd.

How much does MAC Architecture Ltd charge to provide a detailed proposal?
 

As you can appreciate, there is a significant amount of time, effort & expense that goes into preparation of a detailed building proposal specific to your custom home project.
To provide this high level of service, we require payment of a nominal fee, which includes consultations to review and answer any questions you may have.

The fee we charge you will be dependent on the estimated length and complexity of the job. For example, a small renovation project could cost around £800. An architecturally designed home with all the plans supplied such as Planning and Building Regulations as well as a set of calculations could cost around £3000 - £5000 in total.
