News on the Front

Updated: Apr 16, 2020

We have been extremely busy since the beginning of this year, designing and submitting lots of new projects and applications ! The time has finally come to review the selected recent projects and share with you our experiences.

We've welcomed 2020 with Planning Conditions to a Warehouse Design in Enfield, London, which is still awaiting a Decision Notice. The proposal includes new Parking Areas to Proposed Front and Rear Extensions comprising of Commercial Offices and a New Warehouse Area at the back of the existing packaging factory. Part of the Conditions requested by the Local Council was submission of a Sustainable Construction and Design Assessment, prepared by the MAC Architecture Team !

From January onward we've been working on Part 2 Loft Conversion proposal for one of our Clients at Taj Tandoori Restaurant in Sevenoaks. The project is rather interesting as it includes a proposal of a new residential development above the existing Restaurant. Meanwhile we've been also revising some of the Part 1 Side Extension Project on the Ground Floor of the Restaurant. We are still in the process of completing and liaising with the Clients the best options and solutions for the proposal, looking forward to submission to the Local Council.

By the End of January 2020 we've been completing Part 2 Building Regulations Project at Wandsworth, London where we've previously won the Planning Permission Award back in September 2019. The proposal consisted of a Rear Extension and Internal Remodeling of Existing Property. Below are presented Front and Rear Elevations of the Property as well as a Section through the Proposed Extension with two randomly chosen Construction Details.

February has surprised us with a new order for a quick Sketchup 3d Model Rendering of a Residential property in Hornchurch, London as well as a New Garage Conversion Proposal in Wembley Park, London. The second Project was very interesting as the site is adjacent to a Medieval manor house which developed into Uxendon farm. This was discovered during the delivery of an Archeological Desk Based Assessment produced by our External Consultants. The project is still awaiting a Decision Notice from the Local Council.

In March 2020 we've been working on the Planning Application for an interesting Residential Development Project located in Colliers Wood, London, which comprised of the Removal of Rear Chimney, Internal Remodeling, Part Demolition of an Existing Rear Extension as well as a Proposal of a New First Floor Extension whilst Extending the Existing Pitched Roof at the back of the Property. The Application is still Awaiting Decision from the Local Council.

March has also brought us Part 2 Building Regulations for a Loft Conversion of a Bungalow in Greenford, London, where we've previously won Planning Permission Award in November 2019.

Below we present a typical Building Regulations Plan and Section Drawings - in this case for the property in Greenford.

Finally in April 2020 we've had our biggest order for a Building Regulations Set of Drawings for a Multi-Storey Property in Staines, which is in the process of submission to the Building Control. The Property consists of Two Floors, with 2x One-Bedroom Flats on the Ground Floor, 2x One-Bedroom Flats on the First Floor and 1x One-Bedroom Penthouse Apartment on the Second Floor.

Below we present Elevations and Section with two randomly chosen Details of the Proposed Development.
